Grow your design business with Intaryaa Interiors

About the Partnership

What Intaryaa is, how the model works, and what you're actually signing up for

Partnership

Q What exactly is the Intaryaa Design Partner Program?

A Intaryaa is an interior execution company — we handle manufacturing, procurement, installation, and quality assurance for residential and commercial interior projects. The Design Partner Program lets independent interior designers and architects route their client projects through Intaryaa's execution system. You keep the client relationship and design ownership; we handle everything from factory to final fit-out. Think of it as having a fully equipped production and site team behind you — without having to build or manage it yourself.

Partnership

Q Is this exclusive? Can I still work with other vendors or take my own projects?

A Completely non-exclusive. You retain full independence to work with any other vendors, clients, or brands. You engage Intaryaa only when you choose to route a specific project through our system. There is no obligation to use Intaryaa for every project you take on, and no restriction on working with others.

Partnership

Q What kind of designers is Intaryaa looking for?

A We partner with practising interior designers and architects who have at least 2 years of experience, a functional studio, and the ability to manage client relationships professionally. You should be comfortable working with drawings, BOQs, and project coordination. We are not looking for the biggest studios — we are looking for designers who are serious about execution quality and want a reliable backend to help them deliver consistently.

Partnership

Q What does Intaryaa do, and what do I do?

A Clear split: you own the design concept, client relationship, and creative direction. Intaryaa owns production, procurement, site execution, installation, labour coordination, and quality assurance. You present the vision and manage the client. We make it real on the ground.

Partnership

Q Does Intaryaa deal directly with my clients?

A No. Your client is your client. Intaryaa operates as your backend execution partner — we are not visible to the client unless you choose to introduce us. All client communication flows through you. Intaryaa's team interacts with your client only with your explicit knowledge and approval.

Partnership

Q Why would I use Intaryaa instead of managing my own vendors?

A Managing vendors independently means chasing multiple contractors, handling procurement delays, managing quality disputes, and absorbing schedule risk yourself. Intaryaa gives you a single accountable point for everything after design sign-off — with contractual SLAs, a quality check process with 150+ checkpoints, and a 10-year warranty on execution work. You focus on designing more projects and growing your client base; we make sure delivery matches your design.

Commercial Structure & Earnings

How the money works — clearly

Commercial

Q How do I earn as a Design Partner?

A Your earnings come from your design fee, which you set and collect directly from your client. Intaryaa charges separately for the execution scope (manufacturing, materials, installation). You present Intaryaa's execution pricing to the client as part of the full project cost, with your design fee added on top. You are not a commission agent — you are the designer, and you invoice your client for your design work independently.

Commercial

Q Does Intaryaa take a cut of my design fee?

A No. Your design fee is entirely yours. Intaryaa earns from the execution and production scope. The two are separate. What you charge for design is your business — Intaryaa has no visibility into it and no claim on it.

Commercial

Q How is Intaryaa's execution pricing structured?

A Intaryaa provides a detailed, itemised BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for every project before any production begins. The BOQ covers manufacturing, materials, labour, logistics, and quality assurance. There are no hidden charges. You receive this pricing within 3 business days of submitting a complete BOQ to us. The client sees exactly what execution costs and why.

Commercial

Q What is the minimum project value Intaryaa works with?

A For residential projects, the minimum execution value is Rs. 3 lakhs. For commercial projects, it is Rs. 5 lakhs. Projects below these thresholds are not currently serviceable through the Design Partner program.

Commercial

Q How does client payment work? When does Intaryaa get paid vs. when do I get paid?

A Intaryaa structures client payments in project milestones — typically an advance on BOQ approval, a second tranche before installation begins, and the final balance at handover. The specific milestones are agreed per project. Your design fee and Intaryaa's execution fee are billed separately to the client. You invoice your client directly for your work; Intaryaa invoices the client directly for execution. Both happen in parallel — neither waits on the other.

Commercial

Q Can I mark up Intaryaa's pricing when presenting to my client?

A This is defined in the project-specific commercial discussion between you and Intaryaa before client presentation. The standard model is transparent pricing — the client sees Intaryaa's execution cost and your design fee as two separate line items. Any variation to this structure must be agreed in writing with the Intaryaa team before the client is presented with a proposal.

Commercial

Q Do I get any benefit for referring more projects or performing well?

A Yes. The Design Partner tier system rewards performance. As you complete more projects with consistently strong client satisfaction scores and on-time delivery, you move from Silver to Gold to Platinum. Higher tiers receive priority access to premium inbound leads generated by Intaryaa, better commercial terms, co-marketing support, and featured partner status on Intaryaa's platforms.

Onboarding & Getting Started

The process from first contact to live partner — what to expect

Process

Q How long does onboarding take?

A The full onboarding journey takes approximately 2–3 weeks from your first discovery call to being listed as a live Design Partner. This covers: the discovery call and eligibility screening (2–3 days), portfolio evaluation and KYC document collection (3–5 days), agreement signing (1–2 days), and the onboarding week including platform walkthrough and first project briefing (5–7 days).

Process

Q What documents do I need to submit for KYC?

A KYC requires: Aadhaar Card (front and back), PAN Card, a passport-size photograph, your architecture or interior design degree or diploma, your firm registration certificate if registered, GST certificate if applicable, bank account details with a cancelled cheque, studio address proof, your portfolio document or website link, and two client references with names and phone numbers. A vendor or contractor reference is optional but preferred. All documents are submitted digitally and reviewed within 2 business days.

Process

Q What happens if my portfolio score is below the 70% threshold?

A The portfolio is evaluated across 7 parameters with a minimum threshold of 70% to proceed. If your score falls just below, the Intaryaa team will share specific feedback on where gaps exist — usually documentation maturity or project complexity. You may be placed on a 2-week hold to resubmit with stronger evidence. If the gap is significant, we will be honest with you: we will decline at this stage but keep you in our network for future reconsideration as your portfolio grows.

Process

Q What do I receive when I am onboarded?

A Your starter kit includes: the full Intaryaa Product Catalogue with pricing, a standardised BOQ template in Excel, a working drawing format guide (Intaryaa's preferred standards), your dedicated Intaryaa contact card, the Execution SLA document covering timelines and quality standards, and access to the Intaryaa Partner Portal for project tracking and resources.

Process

Q I don't have a registered firm. Can I still apply?

A Having a registered firm is preferred but not strictly mandatory at the initial stage. What is mandatory is that you have a functional studio space, professional experience, and the ability to legally receive payments. If you are operating as an individual practitioner without firm registration, you can still apply — the KYC process will collect your personal Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details directly.

Process

Q Is there a fee to join the Design Partner Program?

A No. There is no joining fee, registration fee, or platform subscription. Becoming an Intaryaa Design Partner is free. The commercial relationship begins only when you route a live project through Intaryaa.

How Projects Work

Leads, briefings, site visits — your role day to day

Operations

Q Will Intaryaa send me leads, or do I bring my own projects?

A Both. You can bring your own client projects and route them through Intaryaa's execution system — that is the primary use case. Additionally, Intaryaa generates inbound leads through its website, Instagram, referrals, and builder tie-ups, and routes qualified leads to Design Partners based on geography, specialisation, and performance tier. The more projects you complete with Intaryaa and the higher your tier, the more Intaryaa-generated leads come your way.

Operations

Q What is the minimum project budget for leads Intaryaa sends me?

A Intaryaa qualifies all leads before assignment. Residential leads must have a minimum project value of Rs. 3 lakhs; commercial leads minimum Rs. 5 lakhs. Leads below these thresholds are not assigned to partners — they go into a nurture list for future follow-up.

Operations

Q How quickly do I need to respond when a lead is assigned to me?

A You have a 4-hour window to accept an assigned lead after receiving the WhatsApp notification. If there is no response within 4 hours, the lead is re-assigned to the next eligible partner. Once you accept, you must make first contact with the client within 48 hours.

Operations

Q What is my role once a project is confirmed and Intaryaa starts execution?

A Your primary role shifts to client relationship management and design oversight. You attend key site visit milestones — foundation, mid-installation, and handover. You inform Intaryaa immediately of any client-requested design changes before production begins. You submit client-approved drawings to Intaryaa before any production order is placed. You ensure client payments to Intaryaa are aligned with the agreed milestone schedule. Day-to-day site coordination is handled by Intaryaa's PM.

Operations

Q How many site visits am I expected to do per project?

A There are three mandatory site visit milestones: at the foundation/civil phase, at mid-installation, and at handover. For handover specifically, you must attend within 2 days of Intaryaa confirming project completion. Additional visits are at your discretion and encouraged, but the three milestone visits are contractually required.

Operations

Q What format does Intaryaa need drawings and BOQs in?

A Intaryaa provides a standardised BOQ template in Excel and a working drawing format guide during your onboarding. You are expected to submit drawings and BOQs in these formats. Intaryaa cannot begin production without a complete, client-approved BOQ submitted in the correct format. If your current documentation style is different, the format guide makes the transition straightforward.

Operations

Q What happens if my client wants to change the design after production has started?

A Any design change after production has begun must be communicated to Intaryaa immediately — before any site or factory action is taken. Changes post-production trigger a formal change order process: scope, cost impact, and timeline impact are all documented and require client sign-off before work continues. Changes that require re-manufacturing will incur additional costs, which are the client's responsibility. Intaryaa cannot absorb post-production change costs.

Quality, Timelines & Execution

What Intaryaa commits to — and what happens when things go wrong

Process

Q What does Intaryaa's quality assurance actually involve?

A Every project goes through a 150+ point quality check process that spans production, delivery, and installation. This includes factory mid-production inspection, pre-delivery dimension verification, on-site installation checks at each phase, and a formal internal snag walkthrough before the client handover is scheduled. The client only walks into a space that has already been signed off internally by Intaryaa's team.

Process

Q What warranty does Intaryaa provide on execution work?

A Intaryaa provides a 10-year warranty on all execution work. This covers manufacturing defects, installation failures, and workmanship issues. The warranty is in Intaryaa's name and backed by Intaryaa directly — it is not routed through the Design Partner.

Process

Q What if the project runs late? Who is responsible?

A Responsibility depends on the cause of the delay. If Intaryaa's execution is the cause — factory delays, installation issues, procurement failures — Intaryaa owns the delay and activates backup protocols. If the delay is caused by client-side factors (late payments, late design approvals, inaccessible site, society permission delays) or by the designer (late BOQ submission, late drawing approvals), those delays are documented and the clock is paused accordingly. The project timeline agreement will specify exactly which events pause the clock and who bears the cost.

Process

Q How does Intaryaa handle procurement? Will I have visibility?

A Intaryaa handles all procurement — materials, modular components, soft furnishings, lighting — against the approved BOQ. You receive project progress updates every 7 days or at each milestone, whichever comes first. If there is a procurement issue that might affect the design (e.g., a specific material going out of stock), Intaryaa will flag it to you with alternatives before making a substitution. No material substitution is made without your knowledge on design-critical items.

Process

Q What happens if the client raises a complaint during or after the project?

A Complaints related to execution quality, site behaviour, or delivery timelines are Intaryaa's responsibility to resolve. You are kept informed but are not expected to manage execution disputes — that is Intaryaa's domain. Complaints related to design decisions are between you and your client, with Intaryaa supporting where execution is involved. Post-handover snag issues are covered by the 10-year warranty and resolved directly by Intaryaa.

Process

Q Can Intaryaa deliver within 30 days? Is that claim realistic?

A Yes, for a defined scope. Intaryaa's 30-day delivery commitment applies to projects within our curated execution scope: modular kitchen and wardrobe systems, soft furnishings from our in-stock catalogue, in-stock furniture, false ceiling, paint, and electrical fit-out. It requires all pre-conditions to be verified before the clock starts — site ready, design brief signed, measurements confirmed, 40% deposit cleared. Projects with bespoke custom furniture, imported materials, or significant structural work require extended timelines and are scoped separately.

Legal, IP & Confidentiality

Who owns what, how disputes are handled, what you're agreeing to

Legal

Q Who owns the design? Can Intaryaa use my designs for marketing?

A Your design IP belongs entirely to you. Intaryaa retains no ownership over any design concept, drawing, or creative output you produce. Intaryaa's IP covers its production processes, vendor network, and operational systems. For marketing use of project photographs — which may feature your design work — Intaryaa will seek your explicit written consent before using any imagery in public-facing content.

Legal

Q What are my confidentiality obligations as a Design Partner?

A You agree not to disclose Intaryaa's pricing structure, vendor identity, production processes, or any client information shared through the partnership to third parties without written consent. This applies during the partnership and after it ends. The same confidentiality obligation applies to Intaryaa — they will not disclose your client details, your pricing, or your design work to any third party.

Legal

Q What is the duration of the Design Partner Agreement?

A The agreement is valid for 1 year from the date of signing and auto-renews on the same terms unless either party gives 30 days' notice of non-renewal. Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Critically, any active projects at the time of termination must be completed before the termination takes effect — neither party can abandon a live client project.

Legal

Q How are disputes handled if something goes wrong between Intaryaa and me?

A Disputes are first addressed through direct discussion between both parties. If unresolved within a reasonable period, the matter proceeds to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration Act. Jurisdiction is the city of Intaryaa's registered office. This is a standard commercial arbitration clause — it protects both parties and avoids costly litigation.

Legal

Q Can I show Intaryaa's product catalogue and pricing to my clients?

A Yes — that is the intended use. The Intaryaa Product Catalogue and execution pricing are meant to be presented to clients as part of your full project proposal. You are not required to keep Intaryaa's catalogue pricing confidential from your clients. What is confidential is the internal pricing structure, vendor names, and margins — information that is not in the client-facing catalogue.

Legal

Q If a client sues over an execution defect, who is liable?

A Intaryaa is liable for all execution, manufacturing, and installation outcomes. If a client claim arises from a defect in Intaryaa's work, Intaryaa handles and bears that liability directly. If a claim arises from a design error — incorrect dimensions in your drawings, wrong specifications in your BOQ — that falls within the Design Partner's responsibility. The agreement clearly delineates design responsibility (yours) from execution responsibility (Intaryaa's).

Support, Growth & Long-Term

How Intaryaa helps you grow, what the tier system means, and what the future looks like

Support

Q What ongoing support does Intaryaa provide to Design Partners?

A You get a dedicated Intaryaa point of contact who is your single line of communication for all project and operational matters. You have a weekly check-in call every Wednesday to review lead status, active projects, and anything you need support on. Intaryaa responds to project inquiries within 4 business hours and provides execution pricing within 3 business days of receiving a complete BOQ. The monthly partner performance review gives you structured feedback on how you are progressing.

Support

Q How do I move from Silver to Gold to Platinum tier?

A Silver is your starting tier. To reach Gold, you need to complete 3–7 projects with Intaryaa, maintain an average client rating of 4.0 out of 5, and have no SLA breaches (missed response windows, late BOQ submissions). Platinum requires 8 or more completed projects, an average rating of 4.5 or above, and a consistent on-time delivery track record. Tier reviews happen monthly — upgrades are automatic when criteria are met.

Support

Q What do I actually get at Gold and Platinum tier?

A Gold partners receive priority routing on mid-range inbound leads, faster response SLAs from Intaryaa's team, and a dedicated point of contact (rather than shared ops support). Platinum partners receive first-pick access on premium and bulk leads, co-marketing support (featured partner status on Intaryaa's website and social media), better commercial terms, and direct access to quarterly partner summits with the Intaryaa founding team.

Support

Q Is there a community or network of other Design Partners I can be part of?

A Yes. All active Design Partners are part of a shared partner community — access to a group channel for peer exchange, quarterly partner summits (in-person or video), product and collection update sessions, and market trend briefings from Intaryaa's leadership. The goal is not just a transactional relationship — it is a long-term professional community.

Support

Q What happens if I want to pause or exit the partnership?

A You can pause or exit with 30 days' written notice to Intaryaa. There is no financial penalty for exit. Any active projects must be completed before the exit is formalised — you cannot leave a live client project mid-execution. Once exited, you remain in Intaryaa's network as an inactive partner and can re-activate in the future without going through the full onboarding process again.

Support

Q What does Intaryaa's growth look like, and how does that benefit me?

A Intaryaa is expanding its Design Partner network city by city. As we grow into new geographies and build relationships with builders and developers, the volume of inbound leads routed to partners increases. Platinum partners in established cities have access to bulk lead packages from developer tie-ups — potentially multiple projects from a single building or society. Growing with Intaryaa early means building the track record to access these opportunities as they become available.
